The Osprey Tempest Pro 28 is a ground-up designed, women’s specific daypack, designed for faced-paced activities in the mountains. Featuring a body-mapped harness and hipbelt, designed for extreme performance and a close-stable fit, the pack is built to remain exceptionally comfortable, even with a moderate load on rough terrain. Large air channels encourage ventilation through the backsystem, for hot weather comfort. The pack features an easy-loading bucket-zip opening, water resistant YKK Aquaguard zips, dual zippered hipbelt pockets, attachment options for ice axes and trekking poles, an external reservoir sleeve, various pockets for small items and large elasticated pockets on the front and sides, as well as many other small but important features throughout. One thing which makes this pack even more exciting is the fabric which has been developed especially for it. Osprey call it Nanofly; an outstandingly tough 100D Robic Nylon with a 200D UHMWPE ripstop reinforcement throughout. This keeps the pack extremely light but astonishingly durable. Tempest Pro has been designed to be environmentally friendly, featuring 100% recycled reinforcement fabrics, a PFC-free DWR and a zero-waste injection molding process for the backpanel. All Osprey products are supported by the All-Mighty Guarantee; a lifetime warranty which shows the utmost confidence in every pack that bears an Osprey logo. The comfort, fit, quality and performance of these packs really has to be seen to be believed.
Women‘s Fit has been part of the Osprey DNA since 1994. All women’s packs are designed separately from their male equivalents, to ensure there‘s no risk of „pink it and shrink it“. Osprey’s women specific pack features four key elements: 1) Narrower Shoulder Width; proportioned and designed with graded padding thickness to create a specially designed fit for a woman’s neck, shoulder and chest. 2) Ergonomically Shaped Harness: The ergonomically shaped harness is contoured to sit around the side of the chest, creating a more comfortable women’s specific fit. 3) Shorter Torso Length: The packs are designed to be shorter, narrower and with added depth in the right places to allow greater freedom of movement and stabilisation. 4) Specially Designed Hipbelt: We sculpt and angle our hipbelts with a conical design to better suit a female hip shape for optimal support.
