Haglöfs has a long tradition of making functional outdoor pants that last. This season, that tradition continues. But with a completely revamped design program Haglöfs’ pants range now offers clearly distinguished fits for women and men. Many outdoor garments are designed as tweaks of a standard version, and all too often that standard has been based on the male body. Haglöfs’ women’s pants range has now been redesigned with a female-first approach where fit and findability are in focus. Demonstrating a true understanding of what types of fit and style are most sought after, the range comprises four fits, including Relaxed, Standard, Slim, and also the tights.
Haglöfs has also distinguished three different material combinations and feature levels, to make it easier to identify which pant is most suitable for the activity at hand. Ranging from lightweight and flexible to sturdy, the qualities include Lite, Mid, and Rugged. The entire range is responsibly designed, utilizing recycled materials and fluorocarbon-free DWR.
And, since everyone’s different, Haglöfs has also made a point to both simplify and expand their sizing scheme. All models have a numeric waist size, and are available in three leg lengths—short, regular and long.
Choose your fit. Choose your quality. Done. Simple as that.
Feeling comfortable about the way you look is a subconscious part of your performance that is often underestimated. But when you feel better you perform better. Some would say it’s hard to choose the right model. And frankly, we agree. From this season on, we are simplifying our range, making it easier to find the right pants, offering three different fits:
Slim: Body hugging with great freedom of movement.
Standard: Sits close, not tight and tapers at the ankles.
Relaxed: Straight legs all the way down, ideal for layering.
You can further specify fabric type, according to their activity, selecting from:
Rugged: Extremely tough and protective, yet flexible.
Mid: Durable and versatile with comfortable stretch.
Lite: Lightweight with wicking action.
And, to make the selection process even easier, we are launching a Pants Finder on our website. Choose your fit. Choose your quality. Done. Simple as that
Many outdoor garments are designed as tweaks of a standard version, and all too often that standard has been based on the male body without regard to the wishes and needs from women.
Therefore, Haglöfs’ women’s pants range has now been redesigned with a female-first approach where fit and findability are in focus to ensure that everyone can find a pant suitable for their adventures without compromising on just that – the fit. Demonstrating a true understanding of what types of fit and style are most sought after, the range comprises four fits, including Relaxed, Standard, Slim, and Tight in combination with different features and materials to match the adventure. And, since everyone’s different, Haglöfs has also made a point to both simplify and expand their sizing scheme. All models have a numeric waist size and comes in three different lengths.

"Tell us more about your COMPANY / PRODUCT SUSTAINABILITY... "
At Haglöfs our sustainability program focuses on three core areas - enabling our products to have a long life, reducing the environmental impact of the manufacturing of our gear and having a positive impact on the people we meet along the way - from our employees to the workers in our supply chain and all the way to our community of outsiders.
Last year we launched our climate commitment to halve our carbon footprint by 2030 and take responsibility for the remaining emissions along the way through climate compensation. This will be a significant challenge since most of our carbon footprint is linked to the products we make and happens outside of our own direct operations.
We have already moved 99% of our electricity in our own operations to renewable energy and are looking for opportunities to reduce emissions from the logistics involved in moving our products, however, to make significant progress towards the targets we need to prioritize the area of biggest impact which is the production of the materials that go into our products.
Our sustainability report is released yearly on April 22nd and here you will be able to read in more detail about our climate commitment as well as the other work we do in the area of sustainability. In the report you will learn about where we are progressing in this area but also the challenges that we face along the way.
