The lightweight backpack has a deuter Alpine back system. The main compartment is quickly accessible thanks to a new type of lid construction. The flexible, removable Delrin® U-frame guarantees even weight distribution. The hip fins are stowable. The chest strap is continuously adjustable and equipped with a signal whistle. The shoulder straps are ergonomically shaped. The deuter Guide 28 SL has position adjustment straps, a goggle holder, an ice axe and pole holder and loops for a helmet holder. The zipped front pocket has a key clip, and a side zipped pocket holds a mobile phone. There is also a stretch inner pocket and an integrated helmet holder in the lid. The SOS label shows all emergency numbers. The backpack is compatible with a 3 litre hydration system. It also has gear loops, a stowable rope fixation and side compression straps, for example for attaching sleeping mats.

A SHORTER BACK
Women usually have a shorter back than men. Our SL carrying systems are adapted to the female anatomy
and therefore shorter.
SLIM-CUT SHOULDER STRAPS
The SL shoulder straps have a distinct S-shape and all-round soft edges. In addition the straps become slimmer towards their ends. For a perfect fit around the shoulder area - no pinching or chaffing. The shoulder straps lie
closer together and are adapted to slimmer female shoulders.
CONICAL HIP-FINS
The closed SL hip belt forms a cone to perfectly adapt to the female anatomy. The conical shape is the result of
the the ends of the hipbelt coming together in an upward direction and the anatomically adapted design for
the SL hip fins. The hip fins perfectly hug the female hips.

This deuter product is PFC free and climate neutral.
It is free from per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful
substances that harm the environment and health.
PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water-, dirt- and grease-repellent
properties.
Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the
environment.

The product was developd and designed by a woman.
For the ones who miss our yellow flower - we changed our labelling and gave it a twist and a knot: we have
come up with a bold new label idea for our SL backpacks and sleeping bags. The new label clearly illustrates this
is a women’s model and gives details of the SL line’s special features. But the label itself is also made of
recycled card and is attached with a thin bluesign®-certified rope, that doubles as a mountain-inspired
wristband.The figure-eight knots tied into the wristbands signify various things. They represent mountain
sports where this particular knot is used to tie into a rope – i.e. survival. They also symbolize the number 8 that
stands for the circle of life, for connectedness, for infinity, and infinite strength. It’s a fitting accessory for all
the strong women out there, bagging summits, loving nature and blazing trails.
