The TÜV/GS certified protector backpack for female bikers has position adjustment straps and an infinitely
adjustable chest strap. There is a goggle holder on the shoulder strap and a side pocket for the smartphone.
A rain cover protects against splashing water and rain.
There is a device for a hydration bladder (up to 3.0 litres).
The Carrying Guard allows the bike to be carried firmly on the backpack in carrying passages.
The front pocket has a large organizer section and the zipped mesh pocket is suitable for a tube, tools and
pump holder.
The SOS label shows all the emergency numbers.

A SHORTER BACK
Women usually have a shorter back than men. Our SL carrying systems are adapted to the female anatomy and
therefore shorter.
SLIM-CUT SHOULDER STRAPS
The SL shoulder straps have a distinct S-shape and all-round soft edges. In addition, the straps become slimmer
towards their ends. For a perfect fit around the shoulder area - no pinching or chaffing. The shoulder straps lie
closer together and are adapted to slimmer female shoulders.
CONICAL HIP-FINS
The closed SL hip belt forms a cone to perfectly adapt to the female anatomy. The conical shape is the result of
the ends of the hip belt coming together in an upward direction and the anatomically adapted design for the SL
hip fins. The hip fins perfectly hug the female hips.

600D PES COAT
A high-quality and extremely durable 600 D material that is particularly tear-resistant thanks to a coating and
waterproof thanks to the closed surface. It is mainly used in our backpacks/bags in places that are exposed to
increased stress and moisture. The material is free of PFCs.
225D PES RIPSTOP
This polyester fabric is lightweight and durable. The RipStop structure means it can withstand much more than
you might expect at first glance. The matt appearance and yet technical „look“ also make it perfect for use in
our urban daypacks. The material has a PU coating on the back and a water column of 1500mm.

SUSTAINABLE INNOVATIONS on the product:
PFC free:
This deuter product is free from per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. deuter thus reduces the use of
environmentally harmful substances that harm the environment and health.
PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water-, dirt- and grease-repellent
properties.
Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the
environment.
Lifetime repair service:
Despite loving care, every product shows signs of wear at some point after intensive use. For deuter there is no
doubt: repairing is better than throwing away! Not only because the repair service staff are true magicians and,
in addition to sewing on patches, replacing zips and sewing on straps, they can also create individual solutions to customer requirements. But above all because deuter‘s lifelong repair service extends the life cycle of the
product and together we can make a big contribution to conserving resources.

For the ones who miss our yellow flower - we changed our labelling and gave it a twist and a knot: we have
come up with a bold new label idea for our SL backpacks and sleeping bags. The new label clearly illustrates this
is a women’s model and gives details of the SL line’s special features. But the label itself is also made of
recycled card and is attached with a thin bluesign®-certified rope, that doubles as a mountain-inspired
wristband. The figure-eight knots tied into the wristbands signify various things. They represent mountain
sports where this particular knot is used to tie into a rope – i.e. survival. They also symbolize the number 8 that
stands for the circle of life, for connectedness, for infinity, and infinite strength. It’s a fitting accessory for all
the strong women out there, bagging summits, loving nature and blazing trails.
